Help Us To Finally Push The Ban On Primate Testing In Europe.
At APE, we believe in new ideas to promote awareness for abused primates around the world. We are proud to have helped the NAVS/ADI Written Declaration 40/2007 which was a huge success by promoting Maria Daines' song MiaC. And All Abused Primates Around The World
International Award Winning artist, Maria Daines, has kindly donated the powerful rock song 'Monkey in a Cage' aka, 'MiaC', to Against Primate Experiments, (APE), which will be used to raise funds for the FRIEND animal sanctuary in Tonbridge, Kent. More information about the sanctuary can be found:HERE
Our goal is to ensure MiaC reaches chart status and we need YOUR help to do it! All you need to do is to download MiaC starting the seven day period of -
Monday The 5th Of May
From our promotion site at Indie Store.
MiaC is in the capable hands of an established chart promotion team and is published by NorthStar Music, UK.

We need as many downloads as possible from this date to achieve chart status. By doing this, all funds raised will go directly to the FRIEND animal sanctuary and help rescued animals in their care and make it possible to help other animals in urgent need of rescue.
The downloads cost only 79p and we desperately need all of you to take a minute of your day starting the seven day period of Monday The 5th Of May to make this project work. Extensive mainstream radio play is assured if MiaC features on the charts and national exposure will ensure that, not only will the FRIEND sanctuary profit from downloads, but because of the nature of the song, questions will be raised about the treatment of primates in laboratories and the effects of the palm oil trade on the dwindling Orangutan population. So not only do we create awareness for primates worldwide, we also get to help rescued farm animals, who also desperately need funds.
More about the artist:
Maria Daines is an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter who supported the pop singer "Pink" at the Party For Animals World Wide in August at Cardiff International Arena. Maria also raises funds for animal rescue from the proceeds of sales of her CD "Music United for Animals"
Only UK downloads count to chart a song in the UK, but every penny received from international downloads will go to theFRIEND animal sanctuary in Kent.
Animal Experiments Kill Animals And Humans.
The vivisectors would have you believe that it is paramount that we continue to use animals in experiments for human medical research. The fact of the matter is, that by using animals in experiments, it is far easier to get a new drug onto the market, thereby reaping vast financial rewards for the pharmaceutical industry:
"If an experiment shows that a drug does not cause problems when given to an animal, the drug company will claim that this proves that the drug is safe for people. But if an experiment shows that a drug does cause problems when given to an animal, the drug company will ignore the results on the grounds that animals are different to people". Dr V Coleman
These drugs which have not been properly tested, then go onto the market and kill at least 10,000 humans every year in the UK alone. The figure in America is 100,000 human deaths per year.
At APE, we are not anti science. We are definitely pro science, and support proper scientists in finding cures for the many human diseases which afflict us, our families, our children and our friends.
APPEAL:
For a top thirty mainstream chart hit, we need around 3,000 downloads starting the seven day duration of Monday The 5th Of May. Please tell all your friends and blog this information on all your networking pages.
Disclaimer:
APE believes in raising the profile of primates in research and all forms of cruelty to animals, through legal debate and education. We do not encourage or condone any forms of violence towards human beings or other sentient creatures.
